International Scholarship Application Checklist

Note: All sections must be completed.

• Two letters of recommendation: Both can come from faculty or staff members at Gallaudet University who are familiar with the applicant’s academic ability or performance, or one letter from a Gallaudet faculty or staff member and the other from someone from the applicant’s home country who is familiar with the applicant’s work in the deaf community. 
  •      If you are a new undergraduate or graduate student, submit two letters from individuals or organizations who can vouch for your academic ability and professional goals. 
• Demonstration of financial need, using the provided outline. 
• Transcripts from Gallaudet and other academic institutions attended. 
• Photocopy of national passport (page showing passport number, name, nationality, date of birth, place of birth, the date the passport was issued, and date it expires). 
• Current Gallaudet transcript. 
• Signed statement of intent.
